Hello! (and suggestions for features!)

Hi, loving the website, and the fact it is tailored to the local climate. Ive recently moved from the UK to France and have been struggling to know when exactly to plant things here, so your calendar is great. Have subscribed to support!

Ive had some ideas for features Id love to see, if you're open to suggestions?
1. Alongside "sowing", "planting" and "harvesting" dates it would be brilliant for there to be "pruning" and "other maintenance" (mounding up leeks, treating for disease, fertilizing etc) too, as its hard to know when to do these things for the different plants. Then the calendar really becomes a full to-do list!
2. General garden maintenance could then be added too, like a plant option for people to select if they want it (e.g. "lawn", "paths", "pond", "veg beds", "orchard"), for other seasonal garden tasks.
3. Ive been struggling to know what dates to plant things in the polytunnel as the seasons can be extended in there compared to outside, but Im not sure when to sow/plant for polytunnel or greenhouse plants.... so it would be great if there were an option for that somehow.

Keep up the good work!

Hello and thank you for these excellent suggestions.
    1. Other types, first and foremost pruning, will be integrated in the futurešŸ˜„.
    2. For other types of maintenance, I have to be careful not to make the list too long, so a ā€œmiscā€ type already exists to create other tasks but i'm still aware to add more if suggested.
    3. Finally, for the greenhouse tasks, I'm also planning improvements in the future, but I still have to think about how to implement them properly so that they're easy to handle in the site interface.

    Have a nice evening,
    Arnaud

Hi, also a fellow Brit retiree here in Central Massif France. We've been here 2 years +, but this year is the first time I've had chance to turn my attention to building my veg patch. Used to live on Romney Marsh in Kent so used to milder UK climate and very good soil. Pretty much anything that went into the earth there used to thrive! (Pathetic plants on clearance aisles were my speciality!) Bit nervous about the more extreme weather conditions here, being 600m above sea level rather than 10m and the unknown soil type/garden pests/local seed varieties etc - but my approach will be that I've all the time in the world to learn and adapt. That's why I retired in the first place!!
    Bonne chance!!
