Permapotes

10 new growing instructions (anemone, nectarine, camellia, etc.)

Hello mates,

I've just added some new growing sheets to the Permapotes plant list. You can now add them to your favourites and therefore to your calendar! =)

  • Anemone - A colourful flowering perennial, often grown as an ornamental. It prefers well-drained soil and a sunny to semi-shady position. It flowers mainly in spring or autumn depending on the variety.

  • Brugnonier - Fruit tree producing nectarines, similar to nectarines but with smooth skin. It likes temperate climates and requires regular pruning to encourage fruiting. Its pink blossom in spring precedes the summer harvest.

  • Camellia - An evergreen shrub appreciated for its elegant flowers in winter and spring. It prefers acidic, cool soil and a shady or semi-shady exposure. Its flowers vary from white to pink to red.

  • Daubenton cabbage - A non-heading perennial cabbage grown for its edible foliage. It does not go to seed and can be harvested all year round. Very hardy, it is easy to cut and requires little maintenance.

  • Nice long squash - A runner variety producing long cylindrical squashes with sweet, orange flesh. It is grown in full sun and requires rich, well-drained soil. Harvested in autumn, it keeps well for several months.

  • Delphinium (Larkspur) - A perennial with large blue, pink or white flowering stems. It appreciates rich, cool soil and a sunny location. Beware of strong winds, as its stems are fragile.

  • Lily of the valley - A rhizomatous perennial with small white bells that are fragrant in spring. It prefers shade and cool, humus-rich soil. Toxic, it is nevertheless highly prized for May 1st as a good luck charm.

  • Black-eyed Susan - A tropical climber with bright orange flowers with black centres. It grows quickly and clings to trellises or stakes. It likes heat and sun but is not frost resistant.

  • Valerian - A medicinal plant with pink or white flowers that attract pollinators. It grows easily in poor, dry soil. Its root is used in phytotherapy for its relaxing properties.

  • Violet - Small, fragrant and edible flowers, often purple but also white or pink. They like shade and cool, humus-rich soil. Some species are used in confectionery and perfumery.

Beautiful evening to you,

Arnaud
