How do you successfully sow your night flowers under cover?
For successful sowing under cover of belle de nuit, it is advisable to sow the seeds in early spring, around 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost. To do this, use small individual pots filled with well-draining potting soil. The seeds should be buried in the soil, barely covered. It is important to keep them at a temperature of around 18-21°C to encourage germination. Keep the mould moist but not soggy by watering regularly. Once the plants are well developed, transplant them into the ground after the last frosts, spacing them about 20-30 cm apart. Night beauties like a sunny, well-drained spot, and tolerate drought well. It is advisable to remove spent flowers to encourage flowering.
