How to sow cosmos successfully outdoors?
To sow cosmos outdoors, choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Ideally, sow the seeds in spring after the last frosts, around April-May. Before sowing, weed and loosen the soil by lightly scratching it.
Scatter the seeds over the surface of the soil, spacing them about 30 cm apart. Then cover them with a thin layer of soil and tamp lightly. Water gently to keep the soil moist but not soggy.
Make sure the cosmos plants get enough sun and water to grow well. Once the plants are well established, they require little maintenance. Enjoy their abundant, colourful blooms all summer long!
