How to sow cyclanthera under cover?

To grow cyclanthera, start by sowing the seeds under cover in spring, around late March-early April. Fill small pots or cups with light, moist potting soil, then place one or two seeds per container, pressing them lightly into the substrate. Keep everything at a temperature of around 20°C and make sure the soil remains constantly moist, but not soggy.

Once the plants have reached a few centimetres in height, you can transplant them into well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Choose a sunny or slightly shady spot, spacing the plants about 50 cm apart.

Be sure to water regularly without over-watering, leaving the soil to dry slightly between each watering. In natural gardening, it is advisable to use techniques such as mulching to conserve soil moisture and limit weed growth. Finally, keep an eye out for any diseases or parasites, which you can treat naturally if necessary.
