How to plant triquetre garlic?

To plant triqueter garlic, choose a spot in full sun with well-drained soil. The best time to plant is in autumn, between September and November. Before planting, separate the cloves and plant them about 5 cm deep and ten centimetres apart. Make sure you plant them with the tips facing up.

It's important to keep the soil moist but not soggy while triqueter garlic is growing. You can mulch around the plants to conserve moisture and limit weed growth. Avoid using chemical fertilisers and opt for organic mulching to nourish the soil.

In summer, when the leaves start to turn yellow and dry out, it's time to harvest triqueter garlic. Pull the bulbs out of the ground and leave them to dry for a few days before storing them in a cool, dry place.
