How to successfully sow black cumin outdoors?

Damascus nigella is an easy plant to grow outdoors. To sow your seeds, it's best to wait until spring, when temperatures warm up. Prepare your soil by weeding and working it deeply so that it is loose. Then sow the seeds on the surface of the soil, spacing them about 20 cm apart. Cover them lightly with soil and tamp gently. Be sure to keep the soil moist but not soggy until the seeds have emerged.

Damascus nigella likes sunny situations and well-drained soil. It's important to keep an eye on weeds so they don't smother the young plants. Once the plants are well established, they won't need any extra fertiliser. On the other hand, they do appreciate regular watering, especially during dry spells.

By following these tips, you'll be able to enjoy beautiful Damask black cumin in your garden, adding a touch of colour and charm to your outdoor space.
