How do I sow oleander outdoors?
To sow oleander outdoors, it is advisable to do so in spring, once the risk of frost has passed. Prepare the soil by working it deeply and adding compost to improve soil quality.
Create small holes about 1 to 2 cm deep and sow the oleander seeds about 30 to 40 cm apart. Cover the seeds lightly with soil and pack lightly.
Make sure the soil remains moist but not soggy until the seeds have emerged. Place the seedlings in a sunny spot sheltered from the wind. Once the plants are well developed, you can transplant them into individual pots or directly into the ground.
Beware, the oleander is a poisonous plant, so it is important not to let children or pets near it and to wash your hands thoroughly after handling.
