How to sow patidou successfully under cover?

To sow patidou under cover, we recommend using biodegradable peat pots or small terracotta pots. Fill the containers with a light, well-drained potting mix. Patidou seeds can be sown from March onwards, spacing them about 5 cm apart in each cup. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and tamp lightly. Place the pots in a greenhouse or under a frame to encourage germination. Maintain a constant temperature of around 20°C and water regularly, but not too much so as not to soak the soil. Once the plants are well developed, they can be transplanted into the ground after the last frosts, spacing the plants about 1 metre apart. By following this advice, you'll be able to grow beautiful patidous to delight your family in the autumn.
