pattypanHow to sow patissons successfully under cover?
To sow patissons seeds under cover, you can use peat pots or recycled plastic cups filled with quality potting soil. Sow the seeds 1 to 2 cm deep and water lightly to maintain constant moisture. Place the pots or cups in a bright, warm place, at a temperature of around 20°C.
It is recommended to sow patissons seeds from April onwards, when the risk of frost has passed. Make sure the plants are exposed to natural light for at least 12 hours a day, by placing them near a window or using horticultural lamps if necessary.
Monitor the moisture content of the potting soil regularly and take care not to overwater to prevent the seeds from rotting. Once the patisson plants have developed a few leaves, you can transplant them into the ground, taking care to space them about 1 metre apart to allow good development.
