How to sow snapdragons successfully under cover?

To grow snapdragons (snapdragons) under cover, it's best to start by sowing the seeds in small containers such as cups or alveoli. Choose a light, well-draining soil to prevent the seedlings from rotting. Snapdragons prefer slightly acidic soil, so there's no need to add fertiliser.

Sowing is best done in late winter or early spring, around March-April. Place containers in a bright, warm spot, but take care to avoid direct sunlight. Keep the potting soil moist but not soggy by watering regularly with room temperature water.

Once the seedlings have germinated and grown to a few centimetres in height, they can be transplanted into the ground from May onwards. Be sure to space them about 20 to 30 cm apart so that they have enough room to grow. Snapdragons prefer humus-rich soil, so don't hesitate to add compost to your soil before transplanting the plants.
