How do I sow sorghum outdoors?
To sow sorghum outdoors, it's best to wait until all risk of frost has passed, usually late April-early May. Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Before sowing, work the soil by weeding and levelling it. You can enrich the soil by mixing in compost.
Sorghum seeds should be sown about 2 to 3 cm deep and 20 to 30 cm apart. Be sure to cover them with fine soil and pack lightly. Water regularly to keep the soil moist, but avoid overwatering.
