How do I sow sucrine du Berry under cover?

Sucrine du Berry can be sown under cover or in the ground, depending on the weather conditions and the chosen period. For sowing under cover, the seeds are placed in 8 to 10 cm diameter cups filled with a light, nutrient-rich potting soil. One or two seeds are placed in each cup, sown to a depth of around two centimetres. The temperature should be kept between twenty and twenty-five degrees to encourage rapid germination, which generally takes place within a week. Watering should be moderate to avoid excess moisture, which could cause the seeds to rot. When the young plants have three or four well-developed leaves and the outside temperatures are mild enough, they are transplanted into the ground, spaced out one metre apart in all directions to allow them to develop properly.
