How to sow yellow cherry tomatoes successfully under cover?

To grow yellow cherry tomatoes under cover, we recommend sowing the seeds in small pots filled with light potting soil in mid-February to mid-March. Make sure the pots are well drained to avoid excess water, which can cause root rot.

Place the pots in a bright, warm place, taking care to maintain a temperature of around 20°C. Water regularly but do not over-water, preferring to spray so as not to disturb the young plants.

Once the plants have reached a height of around ten centimetres, transplant them into individual pots or in the ground, making sure they are around 50 cm apart. Install a stake to keep the plants growing.

Avoid over-watering and make sure the plants receive enough light for optimum growth. Finally, mulch at the foot of the plants to control weeds and keep the soil moist.

The best way to prevent weeds from growing is to keep the soil moist.
