How do I sow vetch outdoors?

To sow vetch outdoors, we recommend doing so in spring or autumn. The soil must be well prepared by weeding and working it deeply to allow the vetch roots to develop properly. It is advisable to sow the seeds at a depth of about 2 to 3 cm and to space them about 5 to 10 cm apart. Be sure to pack the soil well after sowing to ensure good contact between the seeds and the soil. It's important to provide vetch with enough water to encourage its growth, especially during dry spells. However, take care not to over-water to prevent root rot. Vetch needs plenty of sun to grow, so choose a sunny spot for planting. Finally, monitor vetch plants regularly for any diseases or pests and act quickly if necessary to protect your crops.
