How to sow wallflowers successfully outdoors?

To grow wallflowers outdoors, we recommend sowing the seeds in spring or autumn. Prepare the soil by weeding and working it deeply so that it is well aerated. Choose a sunny or semi-shady spot to plant the seeds.

The wallflower seeds can be sown about 20 to 30 centimetres apart. Be sure to water the young plants regularly to prevent them drying out. Wallflowers prefer well-drained, low-fertility soil, so it's generally not necessary to add fertiliser.

It's important to keep an eye out for pests such as aphids and slugs, which can damage plants. You can use natural control methods, such as attracting the pests' natural predators or using organic remedies to keep them away. By following these simple tips, you can enjoy beautiful wallflowers in your garden without the use of chemical fertilisers.
