How do I sow agapanthus outdoors?
To sow agapanthus outdoors, we recommend doing so in spring, once all risk of frost has passed. Prepare the soil by working it deeply so that it drains well and amend it with compost if necessary. To sow the seeds, dig holes 3 to 4 cm deep and space them about 30 cm apart. Place one seed per hole and cover with fine soil. Water lightly to keep the soil moist but not soggy. Take care not to bury the seeds too deeply, as they need light to germinate.
