How to sow geraniums successfully under cover?

To sow geraniums under cover, we recommend sowing them in spring, around March. Choose quality seeds and a light, well-drained soil. You can sow them in small individual pots or boxes filled with potting soil. Remember to pack the potting soil well before depositing the seeds.

Then place your seedlings under cover, in a bright spot and at a temperature of around 20°C. Make sure you maintain constant humidity by watering them regularly, but not too much to prevent the seedlings rotting. It's best to cover the pots with transparent plastic film to conserve moisture.

After a few weeks, the seeds should germinate. As soon as the seedlings have a few leaves, you can transplant them into larger individual pots. Don't forget to gradually bring them into contact with the outdoors to get them used to outdoor conditions before planting them in the garden.
