The Andean horned tomato, also known as the "Andean horned", is an ancient variety of tomato native to South America. This plant offers numerous health benefits thanks to its high antioxidant, vitamin and mineral content. It is also very tasty and can be cooked in a variety of ways: in a salad, in a sauce to accompany pasta, or simply grilled in the oven with a drizzle of olive oil and aromatic herbs.To grow the Andean horned tomato in the vegetable garden, we recommend sowing it indoors, in pots, around 6 to 8 weeks before you plan to plant it in the ground. The seeds should be planted to a depth of around 0.5 cm and kept in a warm, bright place.
