How to plant Peruvian Ocas?

To plant Peruvian Ocas, it's important to choose a sunny spot sheltered from the wind. These plants like rich, light, well-drained soil. Before planting them, be sure to weed well and work the soil by spading it deeply.

Ocas are generally planted in spring, when there is no risk of frost. It is recommended to space them about 30 cm apart, planting them at a depth of 5-10 cm. If you are growing them in pots, make sure they are large enough to allow good root development.

Once planted, ocas need regular but moderate watering to avoid excess moisture. It's best to water in the morning to allow the plants to dry out before dark. Avoid chemical fertilisers and use natural methods such as compost to feed your ocas as they grow.
