How do I sow purslane outdoors?

To sow purslane outdoors, it's best to wait until spring when temperatures are milder. Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Before sowing, work the soil by weeding and loosening it with a hoe.

Pennyroyal seeds are very small, so it's important to sow them shallowly and cover them with a thin layer of soil. Space the seeds about 30cm apart to allow the plant to develop.

Water regularly, but be careful not to wet the soil too much. Purslane does not like excess water. Once the plants are well established, it's best to space out the watering to encourage root development.

Be sure to water regularly.

Take care not to let weeds invade your purslane plantation. Remove them regularly to allow your purslane to grow to its full potential and produce beautiful, juicy, succulent leaves.
