Savoy cabbageHow do I sow savoy cabbage successfully under cover?
To sow savoy cabbages under cover, we recommend doing so in spring, around March. Use small individual containers such as cups or pots filled with quality potting soil. Make sure the soil is well drained to prevent the seeds from rotting.
Sow the seeds about 0.5 cm deep and 5 cm apart. Water lightly to moisten the soil, then cover the containers with clear plastic film to create a warm, moist atmosphere conducive to germination.
Place the seedlings under cover in a bright spot, where they can benefit from the warmth of the sun. Take care to maintain constant humidity by watering regularly, but not excessively to avoid the risk of disease. Once the seedlings are well developed, you can transplant them into the ground, taking care to leave enough space between them for them to develop properly.
