Cuore di manzo al pomodoroHow do you sow beef tomatoes successfully under cover?
To sow beef heart tomatoes under cover, we recommend doing so in late winter or early spring, around March. Prepare small individual containers filled with quality potting soil, making sure they drain well to prevent root rot. Arrange one or two seeds per container, which you will cover with a thin layer of potting soil.
Place your containers in a warm, bright place, ideally under a mini-greenhouse or in a well-lit room. Be sure to maintain a constant temperature of between 20 and 25°C to encourage the seeds to germinate. Keep the soil moist but not soggy by watering regularly.
Once the plants have reached a sufficient size, you can transplant them into the ground or into larger pots. Be sure to harden them off gradually by exposing them to the outdoors for a few hours a day before planting them out permanently. By following these tips, you'll soon be able to harvest delicious beef heart tomatoes from your garden.
