How do I plant rocambole garlic?

To plant rocambole garlic in the ground, we recommend doing so in autumn. Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil rich in organic matter. If the soil is too compact, add compost to improve its structure. Separate the cloves and plant them at a depth of 5 to 7 cm, spaced about 10 cm apart. Be sure to leave about 20 cm between rows.

Then water regularly, but not excessively, as rocambole garlic does not like soggy soil. You can mulch around the plants to retain moisture and limit weed growth. In late spring or early summer, you can harvest your rocambole garlic by pulling the bulbs out of the ground. Store them in a cool, dry place for use in cooking. By following these planting tips, you'll be able to enjoy this delicious aromatic plant in your garden.
