Para watercress
How do I sow Para cress outdoors?
To sow para cress outdoors, it is best to do so in spring or autumn, when temperatures are cooler. Before sowing the seeds, prepare the soil by weeding and working it deeply. Also make sure it is well drained and rich in organic matter.
Para cress seeds can be sown directly in the ground at a depth of around 1 cm, spaced 5 to 10 cm apart. It is important to keep the soil constantly moist until the seeds germinate. Once the plants have reached a few centimetres in height, thin them out to leave just one plant every 10 cm.
Make sure para cress plants get enough sunlight, but avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during hot spells. Water regularly to keep the soil moist, but avoid excess water which could encourage the development of fungal diseases.
