Cayenne pepper is a plant with numerous health benefits. In fact, it is rich in vitamin C, antioxidants and capsaicin, giving it anti-inflammatory properties and stimulating metabolism. Cayenne pepper is also used in many recipes to add a spicy flavour to dishes. It can be used fresh, dried, powdered or in sauces to spice up your ready-made dishes, whether meats, sauces or marinades.To grow cayenne peppers, we recommend sowing them indoors about 8 to 10 weeks before transplanting outdoors. The seeds should be planted in light, well-drained compost and placed in a warm, sunny spot. Once the plants have developed a few leaves, they can be transplanted into individual pots or directly into the ground, leaving a space of around 45-60 cm between each plant.
