Lemon balm

Lemon balm is an aromatic perennial plant, easily recognizable by its lemony smell. It is a plant that attracts pollinating insects. It can also be called lemon grass or lemon herb. It is part of the Lamiaceae family. Well known for its high content of vitamins C and A, it is often used in herbal tea. You can also decorate your salads with lemon balm. There are very well known varieties of lemon balm: "All Gold" which has a beautiful golden foliage, "Auréa" with green foliage, "Lemonella" which has an even more lemony scent and "Altissima" whose smell can remind you of orange.
