How to sow mizuna successfully outdoors?

To sow mizuna outdoors, we recommend doing so in spring or autumn, when temperatures are cooler. Prepare your soil by tilling lightly and removing weeds. Sow the seeds at a depth of around 1 cm and space them about 15 cm apart. Be sure to water the soil well after sowing, but avoid excess water which could cause the seeds to rot. It's important to keep the soil moist until the seeds germinate. Once the seedlings have emerged, thin them out if necessary to give them enough room to grow. Also remember to protect your plants from pests by using natural methods, such as mulching or crop rotation. By following these tips and taking good care of your plants, you'll be able to harvest delicious mizuna leaves to garnish your salads and cooked dishes.
